Graffiti Removal
Leveraging disruptive technologies like drones and AI-powered cameras, we’re taking a proactive approach to combat unsightly graffiti on roads, highways, and bridges nationwide—improving infrastructure aesthetics and enhancing community pride.
Restoring public spaces with drones taking on graffiti
Unsightly graffiti is a menace to communities and metropolises worldwide! More than just a nuisance, graffiti is a form of vandalism, making it a crime that devalues property and consumes valuable police time and public resources.
Moreover, graffiti negatively affects communities by creating a perception of neglect or disorder, lowering property values, deterring businesses, and contributing to feelings of insecurity among residents, especially if associated with gang activity or offensive content.
AD provides a complete solution, an absolute game-changer in the fight against graffiti by taking it one step further and aiming to largely eradicate it. This timely solution blends key technologies – smart cameras, AI, and graffiti-fighting drones – to get the job done once and for all.
Partnering with DoTs across the country for graffiti removal
AD played a pivotal role in helping Washington State address the growing problem of graffiti on its highways and bridges by leveraging advanced technology. In partnership with the Washington State Department of Transportation, AD rolled out a pioneering program that uses drones for graffiti removal. These state-of-the-art spray-painting drones are not only a more efficient solution but also provide a safer alternative to traditional methods, reducing the need for costly equipment and on-site personnel.

Technology that works | AD GA (Graffiti Abatement)
AD's GA solution is results-oriented. Its primary goal is to significantly reduce graffiti tagging incidents nationwide by a factor of ten. This innovative solution marks a significant milestone in the evolution of robotic maintenance for civil infrastructure. By utilizing drones for graffiti removal, AD is setting the stage for a new era in infrastructure care, where automation and precision can significantly streamline operations. AD's Graffiti Abatement (GA) solution operates in two distinct phases: Surveillance, analytics, and real-time notifications, along with on-site graffiti removal using the AD Endure drone

Smarter graffiti control
AD deploys AI-enabled smart cameras to deliver real-time monitoring and edge-based computing for early detection of graffiti and vandalism. Suspected incidents are analyzed using advanced computer vision and machine learning algorithms on the AD Cloud, significantly reducing false positives. The system is highly autonomous and designed to rigorously safeguard all personally identifiable information (PII) throughout the data processing pipeline. At the core of the abatement phase is AD Endure—a powerful, multi-functional drone specifically engineered for graffiti removal. The Endure is the most versatile drone in its category, capable of performing tasks such as power washing and painting. It features a modular payload system, allowing operators to swap out the undercarriage for different functions, all with a single drone platform.
AD Graffiti Abatement in action
AD's solution begins with intelligent surveillance. You can monitor single or multiple locations simultaneously using solar-powered, LTE-connected security cameras equipped with infrared night vision. AD's proprietary AI framework processes these camera feeds using machine vision to detect human presence near monitored areas. The system can identify specific activities such as graffiti tagging, loitering, or other unauthorized behavior. With its modular payload system, the AD Endure handles multiple tasks—graffiti removal, power washing, and painting—using a single platform. This reduces equipment needs and improves response times, making it ideal for transportation departments and municipal teams looking to do more with less.
